What we collect
When you use EduCraft as a teacher or admin, we collect account information (name, email, phone), the classes, subjects, and students you manage, and the content you create (modules, questions, assessments). Contact form submissions store your name, email, and message.
How we use it
We use this information to run the portal: authenticating you, showing you the classes and content you have access to, and enforcing subscription/allocation limits for independent teachers. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Student data
Student records (name, roll number, contact details) are entered by teachers to manage their classes and are only visible to the teacher and school admin responsible for that class.
Data retention
Educational data — modules, assessments, attendance, and reports — is retained even if a subscription expires or lapses, so your work isn't lost. Access to create new content resumes once a subscription is active again.
Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Teacher sign-in uses single-use, time-limited magic links sent to your registered email. Sessions are secured with httpOnly cookies.
